The Fruitful Project
Right now, I’m experimenting with something that feels both simple and revolutionary—planting seeds, pits, and hulls with the hope that they will bloom and grow come springtime. My love for fruit, mainly driven by my love for sugar, led me to this experiment. But there’s a deeper reason, one that speaks to a broader mission: to help create the world God intended for us. A world where we care for the earth and ensure that food is accessible to everyone—not just the wealthy.
In Genesis 2:15, we are reminded of our responsibility: “We are stewards of the earth, summoned by God to work it and take care of it.” This verse fuels my passion for this experiment. I want to honor the land, plant more fruit trees and bushes, and create a sustainable way to share food freely. If we nurture the earth, it will nurture us—and every living creature that relies on it.
This project is also part of my ongoing mission with The Fruitful Three Show. The essence of the show is grounded in my faith, and one verse that has guided me is Psalm 128:2: “You will eat the fruit of your labor.” Ephesians 5:9 further emphasizes the importance of goodness, righteousness, and truth—qualities that resonate with my desire to give back to the community and care for the land.
Since refinding my faith, I’ve often asked myself, “What is God’s purpose for me?” And in that search, I’ve returned to Scripture for guidance. Leviticus 23:22 speaks directly to the heart of this project: "When you harvest your crops on your land, do not harvest all the way to the corners of your field. If grain falls onto the ground, don't gather it up. Leave it for poor people and foreigners in your country. I am the LORD your God."
This idea—of leaving behind what we don’t need for those in need—resonates deeply. I believe that there is enough food for everyone, but greed has clouded our vision. If we plant more fruit-bearing plants, not only can we feed ourselves, but we can offer sustenance to others and to the animals that are also part of God’s creation.
Imagine a world where food doesn’t come with a price tag, where the earth generously provides for all who need it. By planting these seeds, I’m taking one small step toward that vision. I invite you to join me on this journey, whether by planting your own garden, sharing your abundance with others or simply embracing the idea that together, we can create a more fruitful, abundant world.
